A surprise to many, OFI Crete got off to a winning start in their Europa League campaign after beating Germany's Hoffenheim in the first round of fixtures. The Greek side now sit in eighth place in the Europa League standings, but could be in for a tougher game as they travel to face Ligue Un's Rennes. Les Rouges et Noirs opened their European campaign with a 0-0 draw away at Sturm Graz and are favorites to get their first win on the board in this one.
Rennes sit in third spot in the Ligue Un table after winning four and drawing one of their opening six league games. OFI's start to their domestic league campaign has been less consistent, winning three and losing two of their opening six domestic league matches.
While OFI, on paper at least, are in better form than Rennes, getting anything from this match will be a monumental task. For our prediction, we're picking Rennes to win and over 2.5 goals in the game.
