There's UEFA Europa League action in the Scottish city of Glasgow on Thursday evening, when Rangers and Genk will go head-to-head. Make no mistake about it, it's been a disappointing start to life at Rangers for Russell Martin, who after being appointed as head coach over the summer, has struggled to get a tune out of the Glasgow team, winning none of his first five league matches. At Rangers, that's just not good enough. Fortunately, they head into this continental fixture off the back of a League Cup win, their first in six games.
The visitors have also had a difficult start to the season, winning only two of their first seven matches in the Belgian top division. They did book a place in this competition courtesy of a promising two-legged victory over Lech of Poland, though, which coach Thorsten Fink will be hoping acts as a springboard for away-day success in Scotland.
