On Wednesday night, there’s more UEFA Champions League action, with two huge quarter-final ties taking place, one of which will be played on French shores. Playing in front of a home crowd, PSG will take on Liverpool.

Despite being in rather poor form all round, struggling domestically, the Reds managed to secure themselves a spot in the final eight of this prestigious continental competition, defeating Galatasaray over two legs, turning around a first-leg deficit by winning four goals to zero at home. For the hosts, there was never any doubt, with the UCL holders battering Chelsea both home and away during the previous round.

Given that they’re about to go up against a Liverpool team that has found it tough to keep things tight of late, the hosts should thrive offensively in this game, but don’t be surprised if they endure some difficult defensive moments themselves, which is what I’ll be betting on above all else.

Against forward-pushing teams, the Reds can be very effective on the break, and I'm just not sure that's being reflected enough by the early odds.

In a game where he should get plenty of room to work his magic, he looks a little generously priced to work the home keeper.
