Luis Enrique's PSG, playing in another Champions League final on Saturday, aims to transform from a dominant team into a hegemonic dynasty by lifting the trophy for the second consecutive year. Meanwhile, Arteta's Arsenal has given Gunners fans historic joy by winning their first Premier League title after a 22-year wait, and snatching this title from the Parisians could spark unprecedented celebrations in the streets of London.
Bookmakers consider PSG slight favorites for this final. This is no coincidence: in a nail-biting tie, PSG eliminated the unstoppable Bayern Munich, scoring six goals in two matches. Before that, Monaco, Liverpool, and Chelsea also fell victim to the Parisians. PSG needs just one more goal to equal the all-time record for goals in a Champions League season.
But Arsenal has no reason to be intimidated; In the previous Champions League season, they managed to defeat Real Madrid, who were then the reigning champions and dominant force in Europe. In this edition, with 11 wins and 3 draws, Arsenal is the only undefeated team. In the semifinals, they limited Atlético Madrid to just 2 shots on target in the second leg and kept a clean sheet for the ninth time in this Champions League, leaving them one unbeaten streak away from the record in the European competition.

PSG - Arsenal: Form Analysis
This match comes for Luis Enrique's PSG 13 days after they lost the Paris derby against Paris FC. However, they had already secured the Ligue 1 title, which became their fifth consecutive championship since 2022. No one can deny Luis Enrique's success at the helm of this team. The Spanish coach has won this competition twice, once with Barcelona and once with PSG. No other manager with 50 or more matches in this tournament has a higher winning percentage than his.
"PSG, the Premier League club-eliminator"
Last season, PSG eliminated Arsenal in the semifinals, but Aston Villa and Liverpool also fell to them. This season, the Reds were once again victims of PSG, and Chelsea was added to the list. This means that PSG hasn't lost to English teams in an incredible nine of their last encounters.
However, it's also true that PSG has never faced a team as effective defensively as this version of Arsenal. The Gunners did manage to close out their domestic league in style, beating Crystal Palace 2-1. They thus completed a Premier League season with a fearsome defensive record, conceding just 0.71 goals per game.

PSG & Arsenal Squad Analysis
Luis Enrique has forwards on his bench who could easily be starters at other European powerhouses. But he'll stick with his most prolific formation for the final; that is, we can expect to see an attacking trio of Dembélé, Doue, and Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian has shone in the Champions League, contributing goals in the last seven knockout rounds he's played in.
It's in defense where Luis Enrique's squad is dealing with injuries. Hakimi was injured in the first leg of the semi-final against Bayern Munich, but he should be ready for action; the same goes for Nuno Mendes, who is expected to recover from his injury and be in PSG's starting lineup in Budapest.
As for Arsenal, Arteta generally has a healthy squad, but a hamstring injury sidelined him in the last match. Even so, he could be a game-changer off the bench, and Saka was the Arsenal manager's first choice. Against French opponents, Saka scored an impressive 5 goals and provided 3 assists.
Jurriën Timbers might also be unavailable for the final. However, almost all the usual starters will be available. Captain Odegaard and Rice will be in their usual positions. Trossard will also be present, as will the dangerous striker Gyökeres, who hasn't scored a goal since May 2nd.

Our PSG vs Arsenal Prediction
It will undoubtedly be an intriguing match in which one of the best attacks ever assembled in football history, Luis Enrique's PSG, clashes with the most formidable defense currently in Europe, Arteta's well-organized side.
However, it is in these situations that PSG enters with confidence, knowing their recent absolute dominance against Premier League clubs, whom they eliminated one after another. A close match was expected in the last Champions League final between PSG and Inter, but history couldn't have been more different. It's almost certain that PSG will have the initiative in attack on Saturday at the Puskas Arena.
Our prediciton for PSG vs Arsenal is: PSG to win.
