Wednesday was a favorable day for Liga MX teams in the Leagues Cup, but Thursday saw the majority of MLS teams win.
However, no American league team fared better in the standings than the Portland Timbers after their successful start to the Leagues Cup with a 4-0 defeat of Atlético San Luis at Jeld-Wen Field.
