Week 12 kicks off tonight with the Pittsburgh Steelers traveling to Cleveland to face the Browns at Huntington Bank Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET. Pittsburgh opened as a 4.5-point road favorite but is now -4.
The Steelers have dominated this rivalry over the years; they hold a significant lead in the all-time series, 81-63-1. However, Cleveland won the last meeting between these two division rivals, a home contest, 13-10 in Week 11 last season. Pittsburgh has won six of the last four, but the Browns have been dominant when playing at home, winning four of the last five games in Cleveland.
Pittsburgh enters this game on a roll, having won five straight, including an 18-16 win over another division rival, the Baltimore Ravens, last week. The offense has been clicking since Mike Tomlin inserted Russell Wilson at quarterback following a win over the Raiders in Week 6. Of course, it helps that the defense has been playing lights out, holding four of their last five opponents to 18 points or less.
But while all signs point to the Steelers winning this one with ease, it would be a mistake to overlook the Browns. Jameis Winston has shown he can get the offensive moving. The Browns are still not scoring much, even when Winston has had success in the passing game.
