The Calgary Flames (4-0-1 SU, 5-0 ATS) look to get back on track against the Pittsburgh Penguins (3-4 SU, 2-5 ATS) after taking their first defeat of the season against Seattle. Even that one wasn’t a bad loss, as the Flames held the Kraken to just one goal in regulation before giving up the winner after securing a point.
Other than the season opener against Vancouver, Calgary’s defense has mostly been on point. The Flames have given up just six goals in regulation in their past four games, and they’ve had little trouble with the early part of the schedule. It’s also helped that the Flames haven’t had to travel much this year; Calgary is facing its sixth consecutive game either at home or in the Pacific Northwest.
