The Mercury have been erratic this season but they have recently built some momentum as of late, winning four of their last five games. They have just pulled off a 99-93 win over Eastern Conference powerhouse New York Liberty, boosting their morale even more as they brace for a battery of tough foes in the coming weeks. The Lynx and Mercury split the first two games. Minnesota took the first game 95-71 while Phoenix got back at them in their second encounter 81-80 last June 7.
