Another of the midweek MLS games due to take place on Wednesday evening is the one at Subaru Park, where the Philadelphia Union will lock horns with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Sadly, the struggling visitors will go to the Chester venue without the services of key players such as Riqui Puig, Gabriel Pec and Joseph Paintsil, all of whom are injured. In other words, it's a sizable ask for a team that is badly out of form to turn things around without their most important guys.
Given the state of the visitors right now, this game must go down as a massive chance for the Union to continue building momentum by extending their already impressive unbeaten run. Wednesday's hosts have now avoided defeat in each of their last five (in all competitions) and will thus be feeling positive. Will we see Jim Curtin's men hurt a team that continues to fall short of the standards set last term?
