Game 2 of the interleague match between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Toronto Blue Jays will open a busy 15-game schedule around the MLB on Wednesday. The Phillies will go for their fourth consecutive win after outgunning the Blue Jays, 10-9, in a high-scoring game at the Rogers Center last Tuesday. Philadelphia is batting .283 with 5.4 runs in their last 10 games. The No.1 team in the NL East has also maintained a solid 3.58 ERA in that 10-game swing, enabling them to win six of their last 10 games. The Jays suffered their fifth loss in seven games, sending them further to the bottom of the AL East standings with a 67-73 slate. Toronto had been pitching tremendously well over the past two weeks with a 2.83 ERA until the game on Tuesday when they conceded 10 runs to the Phillies.
