Now back in the comfort of Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers seek to complete a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of their National League Divisional Series on Wednesday.
The Dodgers are +115 on -1.5 runline against the Phillies, who carry +151 value as road underdogs in this match.
Series Recap:
The Dodgers flexed their postseason form against the Phillies in the first two games at Citizens Bank Park. Shohei Ohtani surrendered three earned runs over six innings in his first postseason action on the mound, but the Dodgers’ bullpen, led by Tyler Glasnow and Roki Sasaki as a closer, kept the Phillies at bay in the final three innings. Enrique Hernandez’s two-run double in the 6th inning pulled the Dodgers within two, 2-3, after trailing early, 0-2. Teoscar Hernandez then delivered a massive three-run homer in the 7th inning to secure a 5-3 win for the Dodgers in Game 1.
In Game 2, the Dodgers demonstrated their World Series pedigree in the clutch, breaking a scoring drought behind RBIs from Enrique Hernandez, Will Smith, and Shohei Ohtani in a 4-0 run in the 7th inning. The Phillies tried to make a comeback after Trae Turner drove in a run in the 8th and Nick Castellanos busted out a two-run double to pull the Phillies within one run, 3-4. But once again, Roki Sasaki saved the day for the Dodgers, earning the final outs of the match to give his team a 4-3 win and a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

Yamamoto hasn’t surrendered a run over his last 17.2 innings across three games. In his only start vs. the Phillies on April 4, 2025, Yamamoto torched the Phillies for six innings, allowing zero earned runs and recording five strikeouts.

Our Philadelphia Phillies vs Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction
The LA Dodgers are in red-hot form. They are 9-0 SU in their last 9 games and 6-1 in their last 7 games at Dodger Stadium. Yamamoto has been sensational in his last starts, while Roki Sasaki has established himself as a fantastic closer for the Dodgers in the postseason. As for the Phillies, they are 1-5 SU in their last 6 games against an opponent in the National League West Division and 0-3 in their last three games against the Dodgers. Nola doesn't have incredible numbers coming into Wednesday's start, and the offense is averaging 3.0 runs per game in this series.
Fearless Forecast: the LA Dodgers sweep the Philadelphia Phillies by taking a 7-2 win. Averaging 4.6 runs per game during the regular season, the Dodgers' offense is expected to be more explosive at home, just like what they did in the two games against the Reds. The Phillies are broken emotionally and mentally. Nola is totally not the best starting pitcher to save their season.
Our betting prediction for LA Dodgers vs. the Philadelphia Phillies: the Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 Runs
