Without a doubt, the Astros are the team with the best June in MLB. They finished the weekend series with another series win over the Angels, whom they defeated 8-7. The Astros' strong hitting continues, a constant for them, having had a weak start to the season but exploding offensively as the All-Star break approaches. The Phillies also arrive inspired, even more so after having snatched the NL East lead from their rival, the Mets, after scoring their first two wins against them in 2025 in the weekend series. From the pitching, Luzardo had one of his good days, and Schwarber hit his 24th HR of the season, the Phillies' SLG is unstoppable and went 2-for-4 in games 2 and 3 against the Mets.
