=11.0ptTampa Bay was finally brought back to reality last week. After defeating Washington and Detroit, they welcomed Denver to town and were handed a 26-7 loss. The offense was never able to get their footing and on defense, they kept allowing Bo Nix to scramble and extend plays/drives. They were held to just 91 yards on the ground and turned the ball over twice in the loss. Baker Mayfield was not able to stretch the field. While he completed over 75% of his passes, they were all for short gains as the longest went for just 13 yards. The Philadelphia Eagles looked like they were trying to lose their game last week. After starting 1-1 with a win over the Packers and a loss to the Falcons, Philly kept trying to convert on 4th and short instead of taking an easy field goal against New Orleans. They were down 3-0 at the break and found themselves down 12-7 with just 2 minutes to play. They lost DeVonta Smith earlier when he was crushed on a reception and AJ Brown was unavailable to play, so Dallas Goedert was able to step up and grabbed 10 receptions for 170 yards. Saquon Barkley capped off a quick 1-minute drive to take a 15-12 lead and Reed Blankenship picked off Derek Carr to seal the deal.
