The Cincinnati Bengals will try to win their first home game of the season this week when they welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
It is not unusual for the Bengals to get off to a slow start, but they have had a hard time putting together a complete game. In Weeks 1 and 2, they couldn’t stop the run. In Week 3, they fell behind, scoring field goals while Washington scored touchdowns. Joe Burrow threw for nearly 400 yards and five touchdowns against the Ravens but couldn’t stop the Baltimore run game. They’ll take a two-game winning streak into this game, but they played down to the Giants and Browns, making both games closer than they should have been.
But they face an Eagles team that lost its identity down the stretch last season and has yet to find it this year. Saquon Barkley has turned in a couple of solid performances for his new team, but the offense has struggled with mistakes and consistency. Their Week 3 game against the Saints is a perfect example of what’s gone wrong with the Eagles this season. They outgained the Saints 460 yards to 219, but due to turnovers and some questionable coaching decisions, they needed two fourth-quarter touchdowns to secure the win.

However, the Bengals will need to stop Saquon Barkley to win—but they will not. The winner of this game could very well be whoever has the ball last. But that also means the score will likely be high.
