All eyes will be on the MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as Brazilian giants Palmeiras take on Porto in a huge Club World Cup Group A encounter. While both teams will be confident of progressing from a group that also contains Inter Miami and Al Ahly, defeat on Sunday will put a huge dent in their hopes of making the last 16.
Palmerias qualified for the tournament due to their victory in the 2021 Copa Libertadores, and since that success, they have added two more Brazilian championships to their bulging trophy cabinet. Meanwhile, Porto's qualification was secured thanks to their overall performances in Europe over the last four seasons. Sunday's game will be the first ever encounter between Porto and Palmeiras, and the bookmakers cannot separate the two teams.
