The second round of the 2025 NCAA Division I National Championship will conclude with the No. 5 seed Oregon Ducks taking on the No. 4 seed Arizona Wildcats. Fans can see these two former Pac-12 teams face off at 9:40 p.m. ET with coverage via TBS.
Oregon was just a 5.5-point favorite against the No. 12 seed Liberty Flames in the first round, but the game was not even close to as competitive as such a spread would indicate. The Ducks shot out to an 18-2 lead over the Flames en route to a 44-20 halftime lead. With the game well in hand, they cruised through the second half to an 81-52 win. Jackson Shelstad led the way for the Ducks with 17 points, followed by Nate Biddle with 14 and Keeshawn Barthelemy with 10. The No. 13 seed Akron was a bit more competitive vs. Arizona, but the Wildcats still led by 10 at the break, 41-31. But Arizona quickly stretched the lead out to 17 in the second half and never looked back. Jaden Bradley led the way for the Wildcats, scoring 19 points and recording six rebounds, with four other players also scoring in double digits.

This game will be a battle between two competing styles with Oregon preferring a more controlled pace, defense-oriented game while Arizona wants to pick up the pace and get more points. Oregon has been playing solid defense of late, but they haven’t played anyone as capable of pushing the pace quite like Arizona can. They may slow the Wildcats down for a half, but I’m not sure they can do it for the whole game.
