The Las Vegas Raiders (2-10 SU, 5-7 ATS) visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6 SU, 7-5 ATS) with the Bucs in the driver’s seat for the NFC South. With the Falcons struggling and Tampa Bay’s schedule looking manageable, it’s hard to see the Bucs losing this lead. The Raiders really don’t have anything to play for, and their ceiling seems to be around 20 points.
Since September, the Raiders have only gone above 20 points one time, that being a 41-24 loss to Cincinnati. The Bengals can’t play any defense, so 24 points for the Raiders on them really isn’t anything special. The Raiders gave a great effort against the Chiefs on Black Friday, but that could have been a situation where the Raiders wanted to show out for television against a rival. In this game, it could be a letdown.

Tampa Bay really hasn’t been great, but it’s been good enough to get the job done in the NFC South. At some point, the Bucs are going to figure out how to play in front of their own fans. It helps that they’re actually going to be a favorite, as the Bucs have been a home underdog in four straight contests at Raymond James Stadium.
The Bucs did look very good against the Giants and Panthers, and the Raiders seem to have given up on this season. Las Vegas seems to be locked in on trying to secure the No. 1 draft pick, and that’s going to take another five defeats to pull off. With the Raiders likely having given their best last week, this feels like a letdown spot for a struggling team. Our prediction for Las Vegas vs. Tampa Bay is Buccaneers -7.
