=11.0ptThe 2-2 Denver Broncos have won back-to-back games over two decent teams in the Tampa Bay Bucs and New York Jets. Surprisingly, both wins came on the road. In those wins, they have held their opponents to an average of just 8ppg. The defense is now 3rd in the league in opponents points per game (13.8) but are 28th in scoring (15.5). When their defense can hold up, these Broncos are able to squeak out wins but if they breakdown and even double-digit points, they have lost. Pat Surtain II has been their top weapon on defense while the offense is still searching for a breakout player. The Raiders are having issues of their own at 2-2. They are coming off a 20-16 win over Cleveland where they were without Davante Adams on offense and Maxx Crosby on defense. Adams is now out for this game and his name is being circulated in trade rumors and Crosby’s status is still questionable. On the season, Vegas has yet to get their run game going and is currently ranked near the very bottom of the league at 76.3 rushing yards per game. That has directly affected their inability to convert on 3rd down which they are doing at a sad 32.7% clip. This game could come down to which team plays the cleanest game and avoids turning the ball over. Not much stands out on either side offensively.
