Novak Djokovic of Serbia will play Yannick Hanfmann of Germany for a spot in the championship match of the 2025 Hellenic Championship on Friday.

Hanfmann gets another shot at the former world’s No.1 after sweeping Marcos Giron of the United States 7-6, 6-4. Hanfmann fired 9 aces and won 88 percent of his first serves to win all of his 11 service games. Hanfmann’s only breakpoint conversion also came at the most crucial moment, as it put him ahead 4-3 and the serve in the second set. Ranked No.117 in the world, Hanfmann will be looking to avenge his tough loss to Djokovic in second round of the 2025 Shanghai Masters, 6-4, 5-7, 3-6.
