On Thursday, Ligue 1's Nice will face German side Freiburg at the Allianz Riviera in the Europa League. This match is considered the most evenly matched in the pre-match betting odds.
After victories against Stade Rennais, followed by a 2-0 win against Lille, Nice held on for over 90 minutes before conceding a goal in the 94th minute against PSG. It was a frustrating defeat for Nice, one they will need to quickly put behind them as they prepare for their match against Freiburg.
Nice's Europa League campaign continues to be a struggle. They have lost their first three matches in the competition by the same score of 1-2, dramatically diminishing their chances of advancing. In the process, they triumphed seven times, including European victories against Basel and, most recently, a 2-0 win against Utrecht.
