Phoenix Mercury (11-4) will look to continue their red-hot streak when they host New York Liberty (10-2) on Friday night at Footprint Center. The Mercury has been one of the strongest teams in the league this season, thanks to the acquisition of star names like Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally. They are second in the Western Conference, just 2.0 games behind Minnesota, and third in the WNBA standings. Phoenix Mercury is undoubtedly a threat to anyone, especially at home.
New York Liberty, on the other hand, is firmly on course to defend the WNBA title. The 2024 champions will come into this matchup looking to avenge their 8-point loss to the Mercury at home last Friday.
