=14.0ptIn a battle of the AFC East, the 1-6 New England Patriots will host the 2-5 New York Jets. The Patriots are in full blown Drake Maye time as he will be making his 3rd start this weekend. He has thrown for over 240 yards in both starts and has tossed 5 touchdowns to 2 interceptions. The 6 sacks he has taken is a bit of a concern. Both games ended in defeat with the Pats losing 41-21 to the Texans and 32-16 to the Jaguars. In the loss to the Jags, the Patriots were held to just 38 total rushing yards. Without a consistent rushing attack, it is going to be hard for Drake Maye to grow in the passing game. Their opponents on Sunday, the Jets, added Davante Adams in hopes to make Aaron Rodgers happy and give a boost to the passing attack. That was not really the case in their 1st game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers connected with Adams just 3 times on 9 targets for 30 yards. Oddly enough, it was running back Breece Hall, who benefited the most in the passing game. He caught 6 balls for 103 yards.
