The Islanders were victims of an early season déjà vu after suffering an overtime loss against Utah Hockey Club. They completed an impressive comeback but blew away the lead with only two minutes to go. The Islanders will now look to give it another go against Dallas, who produced a late masterclass to win 4-3 in their season opener against the Predators. Dallas played a pretty solid game, although they had some shaky moments in the second period when they gave up several chances.
