Washington fans get their first look at their No.2 overall pick, Jayden Daniels, and the new quarterback did not disappoint, at least on the rushing aspect of his game. Daniels showcased his ridiculous two-way potential in his NFL debut as he completed 17-for-24 passes for 184 yards. He also rushed for 88 yards with 2 touchdowns in the Commanders’ 37-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New York will step into the second game of their schedule trying to erase the memory of a disastrous season opener against the Minnesota Vikings 28-6. Quarterback Daniel Jones got sacked five times in the match, passing for 186 yards with two interceptions. The Giants covered 240 yards but squandered several chances to score largely because of the Vikings’ relentless defence.
