Colorado Avalance of the Western Conference Central Division take on New Jersey Devils of the Eastern Conference Metropolitan Division in what should be an entertaining match. The Avs' recent form has been somewhat inconsistent, with four defeats interspersed with two victories in their last six. They have won their last two at home, though. They've scored plenty of goals, too, and are the current highest scorers in the Central Division with 49.
As for the Devils, they're in very good form indeed. Devils have won their last three matches, and five of their last six. They do play Dallas Stars before this match up, which we also expect them to win. This game is shaping up to be one of the highlights of this round of fixtures.
For our prediction, a result is pretty difficult to call. Despite Avalanche's inconsistent form, they're still favorites to take the win here. Then again, Devils are in great form, which means picking a winner is a tough task. Instead, we're looking at the Goals market and think they'll be over 6.5 in this one.
