The Miami Dolphins will try to extend their winning streak to three games this week when they host their hated division rival, the New England Patriots, at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
In a season marred by injuries to key players, the Miami Dolphins still have a shot at making the postseason. But their margin for error for the rest of the season is minimal. At the least, they need to win the games they should win, and they should definitely beat the Patriots. Miami opened as a 6.5-point favorite, but they are now listed at -7 or -7.5 at most online sportsbooks. The Dolphin's offense has been slowly ramping up since it began getting players back from the injured list a few weeks ago. Last Sunday's game against the Raiders was arguably their best offensive outing to date, with Tua Tagovailoa throwing for 280+ yards and three touchdowns.
However, Drake Maye has been getting better with each passing week. He set a new career high for yards last week with 282 yards and a completion percentage of 75 (29-39)—and this was against a good Rams defense. He could make the Dolphins sweat more than they'd like to in this game.
