The Nevada Wolfpack (16-12) hit the road to take on the UNLV Rebels (15-13) in a rematch from their contest back at the beginning of February. In that previous meeting, Nevada defended their homecourt and picked up a 71-65 win that narrowly covered the -5.5-point spread. Nevada had 4 scorers finish in double-digits but were led by Nick Davidson’s 14 points and 6 boards. With the game tied at 65 with just over a minute remaining, Xavier DuSell knocked down a 14-foot jump shot to take the lead they never relinquished. Recently, Nevada was able to avoid a losing streak by defeating Wyoming after suffering back-to-back losses to Colorado State and Boise State. For UNLV, they snapped a 5-game losing streak and have won 4 of their last 5 games. Their latest game was a 77-71 win over San Jose State where Jaden Henley put up 22 points and grabbed 5 boards and dished out 5 assists while picking up 4 steals as well. The Rebels are hoping that he can duplicate that performance here against the visiting Wolfpack to get revenge for their loss in the previous meeting.
