The Netherlands will move to the top of their World Cup qualification group if they defeat Poland at the Stadion Feijenoord 'De Kuip' in Rotterdam on Thursday evening. Ronald Koeman's side have two wins from two so far, thanks to an impressive 0-2 win in Finland, plus an 8-0 thrashing of minnows Malta. Memphis Depay has been the star man for the Dutch so far, with three goals in those two games, whilst Aston Villa wideman Donyell Malen also chipped in with two strikes in the victory over Malta.
Poland's qualification hopes are in the balance after a surprising 2-1 loss to Finland last time out. That defeat means the Poles are currently outside of the qualification places and in urgent need of a big result to boost their hopes of a top two finish. A shock victory in Rotterdam would give their campaign a much-needed shot in the arm.
