The No. 25 Nebraska Cornhuskers will try to improve to 6-1 on the year Friday, Oct. 17, when they travel to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Gophers at Huntington Bank Stadium. Kickoff for this Big Ten matchup is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST, and fans can catch the game on Fox.

Nebraska rolled through its non-conference schedule, beating Cincinnati 20-17 and then crushing Akron (68-0) and Houston Christian (59-7). But when conference play got underway a few weeks ago, they hit a roadblock right out of the gate in No. 21 Michigan and suffered their first loss of the season, 30-27. They have since bounced back with wins over Michigan State (38-27) and Maryland (34-31). Powered by a top ten passing offense, they are gaining 450+ yards per game and scoring 41 points per game. As for Minnesota, the Gophers came into conference play at 2-1 and improved to 3-1 with a 31-28 win over Rutgers. But then they played Ohio State, and the game went as expected, 3-42. They rebounded last weekend with a 27-20 win over Purdue. The Gophers struggle to move the ball on the ground but have a decent passing game, averaging 278.3 ppg while allowing 21.2 ppg.
