Corentin Moutet of France will play Alex de Minaur of Australia on Saturday for a spot in the final of the 2025 Mubadala Citi Open in Washington D.C.

Moutet scored six fewer points than Medvedev, who recorded 85 points in this quarterfinal duel, yet the Frenchman earned the points that mattered the most, including a breakpoint that sealed the win in the 10th game of the third set.
De Minaur also moved on to the semifinals with a straight-set win over Brandon Nakashima of the United States 6-4 6-4. After edging Jiri Lehecka 7-6(4) 6-7(6) 6-4 in a grueling three-set match, De Minaur made sure he would not play in another three-setter, seizing full control by winning 67 percent of his first serves and capturing four breakpoints.
