Sweden will look to continue their 2025 EuroBasket resurgence when they lock horns with Montenegro on Monday morning. Sweden defeated Great Britain 78-59 to improve their chances of making the knockout rounds. The Swedes were led by Miami Heat’s Pelle Larsson, who bagged 23 points and four rebounds. This was an impressive response from their back-to-back losses against Finland and Germany. Another win will certainly put them in a great position.
Montenegro, meanwhile, are struggling to compete in Group B. They sit at the bottom of the rankings with just a single point, having lost all of their first three games. The Montenegrins suffered heavy losses against Germany and Lithuania before falling by 20 points against Finland on Saturday. They’ll be under pressure to defeat Sweden on Monday and salvage the little that’s left for them in the group.
