Borussia Dortmund will move a huge step towards securing second place in the Bundesliga if they can overcome lowly Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday afternoon.
Thanks to Bayern Munich's incredible form, the title has long been beyond the grasp of Dortmund, but it has still been a very solid season for Niko Kovač's side, and they come into Saturday's game off the back of a 4-0 thumping of Freiburg last weekend.
Mönchengladbach are still technically in a relegation battle, but given the fact that they are seven points clear of the drop zone with just three games remaining, it would take a remarkable sequence of results to see them drop into the bottom two. Even though they look very likely to retain their Bundesliga place, it has still been a hugely disappointing campaign for Mönchengladbach; they have won just seven of their 31 league games so far, and are currently on a five game winless run.
