There's an all-French affair in the Champions League playoff round, as holders PSG take on Monaco in a mouthwatering matchup.
Monaco hold the home advantage for this Tuesday's first leg, but they will still go into the game as the underdogs, mainly due to PSG's formidable lineup of world class ttacking talent and excellent recent record in the competition.
However, when the two teams met earlier this season in Lique 1, it was Monaco who emerged as victors, thanks to a second half penalty from former Liverpool star Takumi Minamino.
Depsite that impressive result, Monaco are still languishing down in seventh place in the Ligue 1 standings, a full 20 points behind leaders PSG.
But whilst, Luis Enrique's side are setting the pace domestically, they have not quite hit the heights that saw them sweep to Champions League glory last season and they will need to significantly improve their performance levels if they are to retiain their title.

Monaco - PSG: Form Analysis
Monaco's 3-1 win over Nantes at the weekend was just their second victory in eight matches in all competitions. Consistency has been the big problem for Sébastien Pocognoli's side this season, both domestically and in Europe. They can consider themselves slightly fortunate to still be in Champions League contention, having won just two of their eight fixtures in the league phase. Finding the back of the net was the big problem for Monaco, and their tally of eight goals was the lowest among the 24 teams to qualify for the knockouts.
PSG struggling for form
Despite their outstanding array of top class players, PSG have not been able to find their best form in the Champions League this season. The Matchday Eight draw with Newcastle consigned them to the playoffs, but in truth, it was the last gasp Matchday Seven loss at Sporting Lisbon that did the biggest damage to their hopes.

Monaco & PSG Squad Analysis
Monaco will be without several key players for Tuesday's game, as the likes of Takumi Minamino, Eric Dier and Lucas Hradecky remain out with long term injuries. Paul Pogba will also be absent, having not been included in Monaco's Champions League squad. On the plus side, Maghnes Akliouche is expected to be fit enough for at least a place on the bench, despite coming off injured during the 3-1 victory over Rennes on Friday night.
Ruiz and Mayulu to miss out
Midfielder Fabian Ruiz and Senny Mayulu will be absent from the PSG lineup on Tuesday as they continue to recover from minor injuries. However, Ousmane Dembele is likely to be fit enough to take his place in the starting eleven despite an injury plagued season so far.

Our Monaco vs PSG Prediction
This could be a huge banana skin for a PSG side that look a long way from their best.
Monaco are hardly pulling up any tress themeselves, but they have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks and wil be on a high following their comfortable 3-1 win over Rennes on Friday night.
Over the course of two legs, we expect PSG to have too much quality for Monaco, but with the Stade Louis II crowd on their side, we really like the home side's chances of claming a first leg draw.
Our prediction for Monaco vs PSG is: Draw and both teams to score.
