Week Eight of the NFL season kicks off with the LA Rams hosting the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings at SoFi Stadium. The Rams recorded an important Week Seven victory over the Raiders, but are still playing catchup in a very strong looking NFC West division. Victory on Thursday night over one of the strongest teams in the league will not only improve their W-L record, but also give them a huge confidence boost for the second half of the regular season. Standing between them and the win is a Vikings squad smarting from their first loss of the season. In truth, they played pretty well in the narrow defeat to Detroit, and with a bit more luck could have claimed the win. The return of star RB Aaron Jones to the starting lineup made a big difference to the offence and if he can remain fit, there's no reason why the Vikings can't get back to winning ways this week.
