Minnesota and Seattle meet on Saturday night in the deciding tie of their enthralling three game MLA playoff series.
Minnesota took the lead in the series following a tense shootout victory in Game One, however, the Sounders bounced back to claim a sensational 4-2 victory in Game Two.
That Game Two victory featured an incredible first half, which saw Seattle race into a 3-0 lead before being pegged back by two Minnesota replies. Ultimately, the Sounders prevailed thanks to a late second half strike from Obed Vargas, and they will go into Saturday's decider full of confidence.
During the regular MLS season, the two teams were separated by just three points in the Western Conference standings, with Minnesota holding the slight edge. Given that fact, plus the first two playoff matchups between the teams, the scene is set for a thrilling contest on Saturday evening.
