San Diego Padres vs Milwaukee Brewers Prediction & Picks - MLB

The San Diego Padres are hoping a change of scenery will help them tonight. They are down 2-0 in their NLDS series with the Milwaukee Brewers, and a loss tonight could put them in a hole they can't climb out.

In game one, Jacob Misiorowski was not as dominant as many expected him to be. He only pitched 4 innings and allowed 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 6. However, he left the game tied 2-2, and his bullpen helped piece together the win. William Contreras homered to break the tie in the 7th, and Trevor Megill came in to close things out in the 9th with 2 strikeouts.

In the 2nd game, Michael King of the Padres went 5 strong innings and allowed just 1 run on 3 hits. However, he was matched by Logan Henderson of the Brewers, who went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run as well. Once again, with the game tied late in the contest, a Brewer came up in a big way. This time, it was Jackson Chourio who hit an RBI single that walked it off for the Brewers.

Tonight, Dustin May of the Brewers will get his 1st postseason start since 2019. He will be opposed by Nick Pivetta, who is coming off a decent start against the Cubs in their last series.
