The Phillies won the first game of the doubleheader against the Braves but lost the second, with Wheeler pitching, while the Phillies' lineup was unable to score earned runs off Chris Sale. Now the Phillies remain at Citizens Bank Park to host the Brewers for the first time in 2025.
The Brew Crew hasn't fared well on the road this season, having an 11-18 record on those occasions, but they're more inspired than ever after a series sweep of the Red Sox in Milwaukee, via walk-offs in the last two. Yelich's bat contributed to this, hitting a grand slam to win the Red Sox Game 2. Turang is also hitting well, with 5 doubles, 4 home runs, and 22 RBI this season with the Brewers.
Even so, beating the Phillies doesn't seem final, as they've taken 8 of their last 10 games. However, the series win against the Braves brought them the bad news of Harper being hit by a pitch in the elbow, which at least came back negative on the X-ray, but he will still miss a few games.
