The Milwaukee Brewers will try to get back on the right side of the scoreboard today when they take on the Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL, in the second game of a three-game series. Fans can follow the action once the game gets underway at 8:05 p.m. EST.
Chicago is in the driver's seat in the NL Central with a 6.5-game lead on the second-place Brewers. The Cubs have been at their best when playing division opponents, going 12-5 while Milwaukee has gone 12-10. Yesterday’s game was the fourth of 13 between the two teams this season; the Cubs lead the season series 3-1. Milwaukee will give the ball to Jacob Misiorowski to start the day. It will be just the second start of the young righty's career. He pitched well in his first vs. the Cardinals on June 12, throwing five innings of no-hit baseball with four walks and five strikeouts. The Cubs will turn to Jameson Taillon. Tailon is having a solid season, so far. He has a 7-3 record in 14 starts with a 3.48 ERA and a .98 WHIP. Opponents are hitting just .182 against him at home.

Over the course of the season, the Cubs have had one of the best offenses in the league, but over the last week, they have barely hit .200 (.203 to be exact). If his major league debut is any indication, Misiorowski may be the real deal. So, don’t expect the Cubs' lineup to wake up tonight. At the same time, Taillon is certainly capable of keeping the Brewers lineup in check. I wouldn’t expect to see too many runs scored in this game.
