Malcom Wellmaker and Otari Tanzilovi will open up the main card bouts on Saturday night. These bantamweights have identical records at 10-2, but one will walk away with their 3rd loss of their career.
Wellmaker started with a KO/TKO victory in the 1st round of the Dana White Contenders Series. He was then given a UFC contract and seemed to make the most of the opportunity in his first two fights. He imitated his performance in the DWCS by picking up 1st-round KOs over Cameron Saaiman and Kris Moutinho in 2025. That said, he has fallen short in his last 2 fights. Ethyn Ewing picked up a unanimous decision over Wellmaker late in 2025. His last bout was against Juan Diaz, he was submitted last in the 2nd round.
Otari began his professional career 9-0 but has fallen on hard times recently. He lost a split decision in Dana White Contenders Series and then headed back to Fury Fighting Championship and picked up a unanimous decision victory before debuting in the UFC. There, he lost yet again by decision. He is likely going to be pressing a bit in this one as he will be eager to turn his UFC career around.

Our Malcolm Wellmaker vs Otari Tanzilovi Prediction
With Otari likely to press in this contest, it could leave him susceptible to the power of Wellmaker. Wellmaker is going to look for the early KO that he has had so much success with in his young career. He may not get it in the 1st round but we do like Wellmaker to find his distance and put Otari away with a KO/TKO in this one.
Our prediction for Malcolm Wellmaker vs Otari Tanzilovi: Wellmaker by KO/TKP
