The 2025 Mubadala Citi Open has saved the best for last on Day 1 of its main draw schedule, pitting Danielle Rose Collins of the United States against Magda Linette of Poland in the first round of the women’s singles tournament on Monday.

Linette looks to snap a three-match losing skid in Monday night’s tussle with Collins. After reaching the semis of the 2025 Nottingham Open, the Pole bombed out in the first round of her last two tournaments at Eastbourne and Wimbledon Open. Linette carried an 11-9 record on hard court this year and 18-17 record overall.
