Madison Keys vs Clara Tauson Prediction & Picks - WTA National Bank Open

There's a very interesting encounter taking place at the WTA event in Montreal on Tuesday, when Madison Keys is due to take on Clara Tauson in the quarter finals. Having reached the final of this competition back in 2016, only to lose to Simona Halep, Keys is looking to go deep, and she's well on her way to doing that after battling hard, as she always does on a hard surface, to grind out wins against Siegemund, McNally and Muchova. She's now up against a highly in-form player, one who ought to be bursting with confidence, but we've seen Keys do this before, she doesn't look great, yet she finds a way to grind it out and gets better as the tournament goes on, which is exactly what she did when reaching three hard-court semis on the spin earlier this year, winning two events, including the Australian Open. She's a serious hard-court player, that's for sure. 

Clara Tauson is also a very good player, and she comes into this match off the back of a superb effort, defeating Iga Swiatek.
