Madison Keys of the United States will duke it out with compatriot Caty McNally in Friday's third round of the 2025 Canadian Open.
Keys posted an emphatic win over Laura Siegemund of Germany 6-2, 6-1 to reach the third round. The reigning Australian Open champion reintroduced herself to the tennis world by coming through with one of her most dominant wins this season. Keys is 32-10 in the season.
Caty McNally scored her second win in Montreal, this time against No.31 seed Rebecca Sramkova 6-2, 6-2. McNally also defeated Alycia Parks 6-4, 5-7, 7-6(7) in a thrilling first-round. McNally is 36-13 in the season, though the majority of these wins were from challenger-level tournaments below the WTA Main Tour.
