This Sunday, the seventh matchday of Ligue 1 kicks off with a clash between Olympique Lyonnais and Toulouse FC at Groupama Stadium. The Rhône-based club is enjoying a dream start to the season. In addition to sitting in second place in the French league, level on points with PSG (1st), it is proving just as uncompromising in the Europa League. Last Thursday, Paulo Fonseca's team secured its second win in as many Europa League matches, beating FC Salzburg 2-0. The team will be looking to continue its winning streak just before the next international break.
After a perfect start to Ligue 1, Toulouse FC has been struggling in recent weeks. It has failed to win in its last four games. It is therefore only logical that Carles Martínez Novell's men continue to slide down the table. They are now in 10th place in Ligue 1. If it fails to bounce back quickly, Téfécé could find itself close to the relegation zone in the French top flight.
