Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to pull off an upset when their visit OKC Thunder on Tuesday night in Game 1 of the Western Conference semi-finals. The Lakers are coming off a convincing 4-2 series win over the Rockets. The California visitors lost Games 4 and 5, although they quickly regrouped to bundle out the Rockets in Game 6. JJ Reddick’s men will be keen to make their postseason intentions clear with a statement win tonight.
OKC Thunder, on the other side of the hardwood, faced off with Phoenix Suns in the first round. The Western Conference champions lived up to expectations, sweeping the Suns 4-0 to take a deserved rest ahead of the second round. The seemingly confident Mark Daigneault’s men will have their sights on defending the conference title and the championship. Their impressive displays so far in this tournament don’t suggest otherwise.
