The Rockies snapped a streak of more than 10 games in which the Dodgers beat them on Monday, regardless of whether it was at Dodger Stadium or Coors Field. Without much pressure, and with the Dodgers desperately needing a win, the Rockies unexpectedly won Game 1, even though the Dodgers had started as -300 favorites to win.

Later in the ninth inning, Bernabel hit the walk-off hit that circulated on social media and gave the team with the worst record in MLB the victory.
In Game 2, there was much more hitting; Betting sites set the Game Total line around 12.5 runs, and by the bottom of the sixth, 11 runs had already been scored with the Dodgers leading 7-4. This can be explained by things like Teoscar Hernandez going 0-for-4 in Game 1, but by Game 2, halfway through the game, he had already taken four at-bats, one of which included an RBI double.
