The world number eight played very well in Vienna last week, reaching the semi-finals, eventually losing out to Alexander Zverev. There's no shame in losing to the world number three, so Musetti should continue to be confident ahead of his first match in Paris.
Lorenzo Sonego has already played one match at this tournament, which may give him a slight preparation edge. After all, he does have the benefit of having tested the new courts competitively.
