Another of the eye-catching matches taking place at the Parisian venue of Roland Garros on Tuesday is the one between Lorenzo Musetti and Mariano Navone. This is a very interesting clash indeed. Musetti in enjoying a fine season, plaiyng some great tennis on multiple surfaces, so it's not a surprise that he's considered to be the favorite here. However, Mariano Navone is a clay-court specialist, one who is very hard to face, one who beat the Italian earlier in the season, so for my money, this is far from a foregone conclusion.

Of course, as mentioned above, Lorenzo Musetti is having a fantastic season and it's fair to say that he has raised his game, though I just cannot agree with the disparity in odds here. Mariano Navone is a very decent clay-court competitor, so much so that he deserves a little more respect. After all, when the pair met in Rome back in May, Navone won in straight sets, while as good as Musetti's has been, we've seem him falter in several clay-court matches against lower-ranked players, losing to Navone's countryman Cerundolo just last week.
