Amanda Anisimova of the United States gets another shot at a big title on Sunday, when she clashes with Linda Noskova of Czech Republic in the championship match of the 2025 China Open.

Anisimova, who finished runner-up at the Wimbledon and US Open this year, comes out of the gates as a clear-cut favorite at -300 moneyline favorite. But Noskova has also emerged as a strong +230 underdog after claiming her first WTA top-5 win of the year.

Anisimova sealed her place in the final of the China Open with a clinical victory over Coco Gauff 6-1, 6-2 in Saturday’s semifinal match. Anisimova proved too good and too strong for Gauff in their first duel in three years, capturing 26 return points to hold all her serves except one and seizing five breakpoint conversions. Anisimova has now won 11 of her last 12 matches, raising her hard-court record to 24-8 and overall record to 44-16 in 2025.

Noskova punched her ticket to championship round with a remarkable three-set victory over Jessica Pegula 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 in the semifinal. After trading sets, Noskova withstood a spirited challenge from a visibly exhausted Pegula, who had played her fourth consecutive three-set matches in Beijing. With the victory, Noskova reached her first WTA 1000 final.
