Leylah Fernandez of Canada will play WTA veteran Tatjana Maria of Germany on Monday at the LTA London Championships, looking to regain her competitive form after a rocky clay-court campaign.
Fernandez, a former US Open finalist, had won only two of seven matches on clay and bowed to Olga Danilovic of Serbia 3-6, 1-6 in the first round of the 2025 French Open. Before her victories, Maria had lost 9 matches in a row and gone 0-7 on clay.
