The Los Angeles Sparks will try to get even with the New York Liberty after losing to the Eastern Conference powerhouse, 93-80, last Thursday at Barclays Center. The Sparks look to snap a five-game losing streak in their second attempt to beat the reigning Eastern Conference champs on Saturday, 3:00 p.m US EST, at the Barclays. Los Angeles are second to the last in the Western Conference standings with a 4-12 record. They have just lost the service of the No.2 overall pick Cameron Brink for the rest of the season after she suffered a torn ACL. The Liberty, on the other hand, hope to keep in steps with the Connecticut Suns as the two powerhouses duke it out for the top spot in the Eastern Conference standings. After suffering a 99-93 loss to the Mercury that ended their eight-game winning run, the Liberty bounced back right away as Sabrina Ionesco dropped 31 points in their win over the Sparks.
